What Businesses Need To Know

Before your Today's Deal runs:

  • Be sure you are properly staffed & available for the date of the deal (answer phones, emails)
  • Be sure all paperwork has been filled out completely and accurately
  • Be prepared and think ahead – how do you want to handle those who bring in a newspaper ad? Don’t have a computer, etc?
  • Make sure you can handle the business – don’t panic if the deal starts selling quickly! Set a realistic max ahead of time if you’re worried how your business can handle it.

  • Keep in touch with your sales rep

  • Be prepared to handle certain situations:
    • Someone did not follow a certain restriction
    • Someone was not able to purchase the deal but still wants to take advantage.
  • Keep track of the vouchers redeemed.
  • Let the sales rep/PD know how you felt about your TD experience.
  • Remember the 5-year gift card Law!!
  • Find a way to bring your Today's Deal customers back
    • Gather email addresses for your newsletter and email blasts
    • Since you know this audience enjoys deals, have a generic coupon ready to entice them to come back again.

    The more enjoyable visits to your establishment, the more chances you have to make these customers life-long patrons!
